MANteam is a solution that incorporates the necessary tools and technologies to provide a secure information sharing mechanism with teams at remote locations. The solution utilizes the capabilities of commercially available hand-held devices such as mobile phones, smart phones, PDAs, etc. and integrates them with back-office systems over a wireless (mobile network) or wired communications channel.

For example, MANteam allows site supervisors and engineers to update progress from remote locations over a mobile network from a handheld phone. Alternatively, the field engineers can synchronize data from their PDAs at defined intervals. This eliminates the need for field workers to prepare and submit conventional paper-based reports, thereby improving productivity. The solution provides features to download/upload the scheduled activities developed in commercial project management applications such as Primavera or Microsoft project and synchronize their activities with the controllers at the back-office. In addition, the solution provides facilities to capture employee profiles and assign tasks to relevant team members using the back-office interfaces. The site team downloads the allocated activities and submits the status on a daily or at other defined intervals. The solution also provides capabilities to submit field reports which facilitate recording of materials consumption, equipment usage, etc on jobs. This information is automatically downloaded and synchronized with the central database for further planning, analysis and control.
